(Bend, OR) – THE PEAK 104.1 (KWPK-FM) has been named 2007 Oregon Radio Station of the Year by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters.  The announcement was made at the Fall Conference of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters on September 14, 1007.

“This is a great honor for our team of 23 full-time and 6 part-time employees,” said Keith Shipman, President & CEO of Horizon Broadcasting Group.  “We are humbled that a member of our group of stations has been recognized by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters for the second consecutive year (KQAK-FM was named Oregon Radio Station of the Year in 2006).  THE PEAK 104.1’s air personalities – Dave Clemens, Bryon Mengle and Roy Lamela – have developed a terrific connection with the Central Oregon communities we serve.  We are very thankful to the many listeners we have and for the opportunity to help businesses throughout Central Oregon grow through effective marketing campaigns.”
