LITE 95.1 CELEBRATES “LITE CHRISTMAS” - ADOPTS HOLIDAY MUSIC FORMAT
(Bend, OR) – Continuous Lite Favorites…LITE 95.1 will adopt an all-holiday music format on Friday, November 25. LITE 95.1 will celebrate LITE CHRISTMAS through Christmas Day.
“You’ll see LITE 95.1 throughout the region as we celebrate the holidays with our listeners in Central Oregon,” said Jeffrey Brian Nelson, Program Director and afternoon personality of LITE 95.1. “We’re also excited to partner with so many fine organizations to help make this a memorable holiday for everyone in our community.”
LITE 95.1 is the official radio partner of the Starlight Festival at Eagle Crest Resort, is the media partner for Christmas in the Northwest (benefiting Children’s Hospitals in the northwest) and is the exclusive radio partner for the “Santa Express” with the Crooked River Dinner Train. The “Santa Express” will host 100 less fortunate children for a special holiday train ride on December 18. The second annual Les Schwab Wishes on Wheels campaign will collect toys for less fortunate families this holiday season. Listeners are encouraged to contribute a new, safe and unwrapped toy at any Les Schwab Tire Center in Central Oregon beginning November 28.
LITE 95.1 will broadcast the Bend Christmas Parade live at noon on December 3, and will broadcast the Prineville Christmas Parade at 6 pm the same day. The LITE 95.1 holiday float will appear in parades throughout the region.
The LITE 95.1 afternoon show, featuring Jeffrey Brian Nelson, will broadcast live from various locations throughout Central Oregon during LITE CHRISTMAS. The first live broadcast will be held Tuesday, November 29 at the Starlight Festival at Eagle Crest, and will include caroling from the Bend High School Dynamics.
LITE 95.1’s air personality lineup includes Dan Dubay (5 am – 10 am), Bruce Cannon (10 am – 3 pm), Jeffrey Brian Nelson (3 pm – 7 pm), Delilah (7 pm – Midnight) and John Tesh (Midnight to 5 am).
