PRINEVILLE MAN RIDES OFF WITH HIS AND HER HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTERS!

(Bend, OR) – Horizon Broadcasting Group’s radio stations and Hooker Creek gave away His and Hers Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycles to culminate its annual Rolling Thunder on the Horizon promotion at The Inn of the Seventh Mountain on June 4, 2005.

James McDonald of Prineville was the 23rd contestant to attempt to open the padlock on the chain surrounding the motorcycles. His key opened the lock and McDonald was awarded the grand prize – a pair of 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster XL 883 motorcycles – dressed out and dripping with chrome.

“The only thing I’ve ever won is a tee-shirt,” said McDonald, who resides in Prineville with his wife and three children. “This is unbelievable!”

Over 10,000 entries were collected during Rolling Thunder on the Horizon, billed as the biggest contest in Central Oregon radio history.

Over 1,000 qualifiers and their guests attended the grand prize celebration at The Inn of the Seventh Mountain. They were treated to music from KC Flynn, a buffet lunch from BM Catering, and refreshments from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Bend.
Rolling Thunder on the Horizon was presented by Horizon Broadcasting Group’s 5 radio stations and Hooker Creek. The promotion was co-sponsored by Sit N’ Sleep Express of Bend, Computer Heroes, George Morlan Plumbing Supply, Audiowerks, Staffing Services, Cascade Heating and Specialties, and Harry Ritchie’s Jewelers. Bears and Roses Harley Davidson of Bend provided the extraordinary chrome package for each motorcycle.
