THE PEAK 104.1 NAMES NEW MORNING SHOW and LEGENDARY AIR PERSONALITY JACK FRIDAY JOINS KQAK-FM
(Bend, OR) – THE PEAK 104.1 (KWPK-FM/Hot AC) has debuted a new morning show – Dave and Bryon - featuring Dave Clemens and Bryon Mengle. Dave Clemens has relocated from afternoons on THE PEAK 104.1 to join Mengle, who has co-hosted the station’s morning show for the past year. Clemens has also been named Program Director of the station. Larry Wilson is the new afternoon host on THE PEAK 104.1.
Jack Friday has joined Horizon Broadcasting Group as its utility air personality. He will handle evenings on 105.7 KQAK-FM (Oldies) beginning March 5, 2007. Jack comes to Horizon Broadcasting Group from WXTU-FM in Philadelphia. His career includes two decades in San Francisco at KFRC-AM, KIOI-FM (K-101) and KYUU-FM, and stops in Los Angeles (KFI-AM) and Philadelphia (WOGL-FM and WXTU-FM). He also served as a foreign news correspondent for the RKO Radio Network.
Roy Lamela has been promoted to Program Director and morning show host of KRCO-AM (Classic Country). “Big Roy” is originally from San Francisco and most recently served as Horizon Broadcasting Group’s utility air-personality.
Horizon Broadcasting Group, LLC owns and operates five radio stations in Central Oregon. HBG’s stations in Central Oregon include KQAK-FM (105.7, Oldies), KWPK-FM (THE PEAK 104.1, Hot Adult Contemporary), KLTW-FM (LITE 95.1, Soft Adult Contemporary), KWLZ-FM (LAZER 96.5, Classic Rock) and KRCO-AM (690 khz, Classic Country).
